Bigot of the Week
This week’s BWA goes to the very disgusting and loathsome Tyler, The Creator, for his incredibly offensive misogynistic and homophobic behavior. To add to my contempt of the rapper, I am so tired of the bigots laughable response of, “Don’t call me a bigot, just because I act like one.” Shame on the Guardian and the music industry for applauding Tyler, as he perpetuates hate. Tyler’s own words show just how ignorant and hateful he really is:
Somebody called me a homophobe,” he said. “I’m not homophobic. I just say ‘faggot’ and use ‘gay’ as an adjective to describe stupid shit.
Let us also look at lyrics from one of Tyler’s rap songs:
Victim, victim, honey you’re my fifth one,” he raps sweetly on “Tron Cat,” while a chorus of “la” softens the blow behind him. “Rape a pregnant bitch and tell my friends I had a threesome.
At this point, all I can say is this sociopath needs some help, as do those that celebrate this twisted vitriol. Is this who you want as a son, friend, father, partner? When Sara Quin showed great courage and called Tyler out on his behavior, Tyler’s response was:
