Anita! I will not be ignored (my best mommy dearest voice).

24 Oct

For those of you dear patient souls that follow my blog, allow me to apologize.  For I am not done being angry with Virginia and Clarence Thomas.  I do want to call attention to Anita Hill.  Please note, she has yet again taken the high road.  She has not dignified Virginia’s contact with any response.  I also want to make special note that as she took the high road 20 years ago, she remains a very classy woman!  I know you will never receive the apology due you, Anita.  At least you are a hero for many. How sad that Clarence (one of the fecal five) and his wife are on the wrong side of history.

I do think that in this case, silence is dignified.

Did a little more research on Ginnie Thomas. I still feel that she is a deeply damaged woman that is open to manipulation and abuse (her involvement in a cult in the 80s is a big indicator of this). I just hope that someday, she gets the help and support she needs.

As always, you prove to be a generous and kind hearted soul. Yes, I do hope Virginia will get the help she needs. Unfortunately, I suspect she will not, for it will totally deconstruct the reality she has built.

Edit my original comment: In Anita Hill’s case, silence is dignified. She says far more with her silence than anyone can with words and video
