Happy Birthday, Lucy Wheelock.  Wheelock was a life-long educator and a pioneer in developing Kindergarten eduction.

Happy Birthday, Hattie Caraway. Caraway was the first woman elected to the United States Senate; and the first woman to preside over the Senate (May 9, 1932).  Caraway was also the first woman to co-sponsor the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA).

Happy Birthday, Winifred Goldring. Goldring was the first woman president of the Paleontological Society.
